So then what happened
Sorry I have been very bad about posting but I have an excuse…I’ve been very busy.
Friday was Bert’s birthday so we had a little get together (dinner, sledding and poker). At 2:30am I cashed out my poker chips and went to bed. At 4:30am I got up to pee and the rest of the game was just wrapping up. How anyone can think well enough to play poker at 4:30am is way beyond me.
Saturday and Sunday Bert’s parents were in town so the weekend was full with the usual family chaos - people rushing around left, right and center, to ensure that they can jam as much fun into the weekend as humanly possible. At one point we were all grumbling through a game of Trivial Pursuit because we were all tired, we were all grumpy, and none of us really wanted to be playing - but we were all damned determined not to admit it.
Yesterday war was officially declared between me and the HR guy. He told my boss to talk to me because, ‘Jaime’s playing games with me and if she keeps on playing she’s going to get hurt’. My boss told me to let him know if I ever have any problems with HR dinkhead. I’m not sure what games I’m playing but I hope I’m good at them - maybe I’ll make the HR games all-star team if I’m really lucky (and if I manage to avoid this mysterious HR game injury).
Sunday morning (painfully early) I’m off around the world…my plan is to sleep whenever and where ever I can - thus shall I defeat jet lag!

You’re spot on…that last half I didn’t really have any concentration at all.
