Paris
It is grey and gloomy and smell likes dog pooh - it is Paris. Actually the meeting is going well and coffee breaks are accompanied by the cutest little mini-pasteries you’ve ever seen. Other than that I am trying to resist the urge to go shopping after the meeting again today (yesterday I bought shoes and wine - how typical).
On the one hand Bert’s birthday is coming up.
On the other hand I am totally using that as an excuse because realistically the only thing that would be best purchased in France, he has already told me he doesn’t want.
On the other hand it’s the winter sales season.
On the other hand things here are still friggin expensive.
Ah, I love that I am faced with this dilema.

Hey Jaime,
Hope things are going well in Paris. Well done on the shoes. No one ever has enough shoes. And the wine, well… just think how much your saving in taxes. In fact, it’s really your duty as a thrifty consumer to buy more wine
Take care,
